Privacy Policy

Last updated: Apr 22, 2026

This page describes how FitCorgi collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

At FitCorgi, we believe your data should be handled with respect and transparency. We don’t sell your information to advertisers, and we don’t use third-party tracking scripts.

What we collect:

  • Email Address: We only collect this if you sign up. We use it solely for "magic link" logins and essential service updates.

  • Hashed IP Addresses: We hash your IP address to protect your identity while preventing spam and providing basic geographic analytics.

  • Usage Data: When you use our tools or click a FitCorgi link, we log the device type, general location (city/country), and UTM parameters.

  • Service Data: This includes the URLs you shorten, QR codes you generate, and typing test results saved to your profile.

Who we share it with: We only share data with the essential infrastructure providers needed to run the site: Vercel(hosting), Supabase (database), Cloudflare (image storage), and Resend (email delivery). All data is stored on US-based servers.

Your Rights: Since we use magic links, you own your account access. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and all associated links at any time by contacting us.

  • Spam, phishing, or malware distribution.

  • Illegal content or promoting prohibited goods.

  • Harassment or deceptive practices. We reserve the right to disable any link or account that violates these rules without notice.

Cookie Policy

Last updated: Apr 22, 2026

This page explains how FitCorgi uses cookies and similar tracking technologies.

We hate bloated tracking as much as you do. FitCorgi uses exactly one primary functional cookie.

The "Session ID" Cookie:

When you use FitCorgi anonymously, we set a single cookie to track your activity during that session.

  • Why? This allows you to use our tools (like the typing test or link shortener) as a guest and then "claim" that activity if you decide to create an account later.

  • Privacy: This cookie is not used for cross-site tracking or advertising.

  • Expiration: Once this cookie expires or is cleared from your browser, the link between your guest activity and your device is permanently broken. We cannot "re-identify" anonymous activity once that session data is gone.

Managing Cookies:

You can block or delete this cookie in your browser settings. However, doing so will mean you cannot save guest progress to a permanent account. We do not use any third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

Data Usage

Last updated: Apr 22, 2026

This page describes how FitCorgi processes and stores data collected through the platform.

This section explains exactly how your data flows through FitCorgi to provide the features you see.

Analytics & Links:

When someone clicks a FitCorgi link, we collect "click-stream" data. This includes the referrer (where the click originated), the device type, and a general geographic location derived from a hashed IP address. This data is displayed in your dashboard so you can see how your links are performing.

Typing Test Results:

If you are logged in, we save your typing speed (WPM), accuracy, and the specific test parameters to your account. This allows us to generate progress charts and help you track your improvement over time.

Storage & Infrastructure:

  • Database: Your profile and link data are stored in a Supabase Postgres database.

  • QR Codes: When you generate a QR code, the image is stored on Cloudflare R2.

  • Hashing: We do not store raw IP addresses in our analytics logs. We use a one-way hash to count unique visitors without knowing who they are.

We do not perform any automated decision-making or profiling with your data.

DMCA Policy

Last updated: Apr 22, 2026

This page explains FitCorgi's process for handling DMCA copyright infringement claims.

FitCorgi respects intellectual property rights. Because we provide a URL shortening service, our platform may occasionally be used to link to external content.

Reporting Infringement:

If you believe a link shortened via FitCorgi points to content that infringes on your copyright, please send a notice to our designated agent at legal@fitcorgi.com.

Your notice must include:

  1. A description of the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed.

  2. The specific FitCorgi URL (e.g., fitcorgi.com/abcd123) that links to the infringing material.

  3. Your contact information (address, phone number, and email).

  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.

  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate.

Our Response:

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will disable the shortened link expeditiously. We also reserve the right to terminate the accounts of "repeat offenders" who consistently use our service to link to infringing material.
